My 2nd application on cloud went live today and my pm could say his thanks via a mass email and so I shall say my thanks here. (hahahahahhaha)

users weren't very cooperative where I had to IM them individually to get their attention. Also we helped save hosting costs by removing 2 databases!

Big thanks to my project team based in India where they met our deadlines without cutting down on quality (big diff between them n my previous company's developers) As well as the other teams that were involved in this project except to sustain team who is another uncooperative lot.

Second day of having an offshore PM is not very good. We spent the first day chit chatting half the time, surfing net, playing iphone, msning and going off on the dot. Today was abit better, packed with 3 long con calls but still doing non work related stuffs in between the calls.

Busy day yesterday! Trial facial at Jean yip, teppanyaki lunch at sakae with mum, went home to tidy up my eyebrows (damm messy la) n den went to see tivoli with boy. Our agent was an old man called ah kong who was naggy, couldn't answer my questions and best part, gave a 140k discount by mistake. Wow. I should have OK I BUY immediately when he offered that 140k discount.

He called boy 3 times after we parted at 5ish? From tivoli we went to vibes to lavinder loft. Boy was tempted with vibes, I was only tempted that it's a penthouse. Although it's just opposite margaritas, I personally don't feel it's in a very ideal location. Why? Cos of my kids who will have to walk over to marine parade road in the mornings when it's still dark. It's a freaking small unit although yep penthouse but these days penthouses are no longer the usual penthouses like in my estate n mabel's. (she stays in a freaking 3000+ sqft where u can shout from one end and the other end can't hear!)

Mabel came to join us in the last showroom at the sound and their finishings are really beautiful, rooms are to my standard and wardrobes are big enough. (ha! Mabel told boy no more space for his clothes)

We had dinner at kallang's long beach cos uncle is apparently a regular there and has VIP discounts. We had premier alaskan crab which was a freaking 600+ for that crab! O.m.g lah !!

To quote my pm, I was running almost the whole show. To quote my bf, I'm just busy sending emails everyday.

Anyhow, I really thank the teams involved for cooperating and aligning towards our timelines. Seriously, it was stressful this past 2 weeks glueing everything together and PM is not as simple as just sending emails ok? Pimples on my forehead is evidence.

Shall have a good sleep tonight!

Jialat eh, I'm actually checking emails at bedtime. Thankkkkkk god my SSL issue is resolved. We spent the whole day trying to find the correct team to create and redirect the URL for us when it took only less than 10 minutes for it to be done. The genuine relieved smiles on our faces was priceless. Buddy was bloody relieved cos otherwise he would be flying to japan with a heavy heart. I was relieved cos I didn't want my first project under me to be delayed, not even for a day! Tmr's go-live is abit of a 硬硬来, with 15 severity 1 bugs unfixed, and best part, no proper UAT cos no one had a Korean credit card. Buttt, I managed to get one and did my due diligence of testing when testing isn't my job ok.

I suddenly feel like eating Dallas, having passed by it everytime I go for my powerplate classes. Boy! I treat u this sat k! Valid on this sat only :D

Go-live date postponed. Bleah.

i noticed im such a workaholic these days. its a freaking public holiday today and after reading the papers, i went to check and reply emails -_-

my first migration to cloud is suppose to go-live this friday, but thanks to business's dilly dally its potentially delayed. if we do go-live this friday, it'll be another celebration together with PM and colleague's farewell! ah, budden bf isnt around for me to treat. first project go-live as a PM in ms wor. enjoy your ribs n donuts in chicago ah boy.

To be honest, I felt alittle relieved and a sense of freedom sending him off at the airport. One week with him was nothing but just the usual dinners. I started to feel I always have to rush through my day's work just to meet him on time for dinner and I'm always caught sending last minute emails before being stressed by him to leave work. I also couldnt go for my runs since meeting him took priority.

I have now two full weeks of freedom and i hope this sense of freedom will continue to linger around until he is back. I can then concentrate on my work and go for my runs!

I probably have one of the most modernized thinking grandma. Over dinner she kept wanting to give us money to buy bubble tea. Overall, hcmc was alright except for the freaking hot sun and humidity. Mekong river nor Ben thanh nor the cheap fruits isn't much to boast about, but! Exploring hcmc with boy was! I still dunoe if he snores cos I always fall asleep within minutes :/
