weekend eating trip!

me went to malacca over the weekend with aunt's bunch of friends. a pity mabel didnt come along, else i'd have enjoyed it more. anyways, all i got was a top from padini for travelling! so disappointed in the shopping.. but the food i ate made it up! on average, we would be eating every 2 hours.. yep but my stomach was making noise when we were climbing up a mini hill to see the st paul's ruins. there were 7 of us in total and rented a toyota estima. not very impressed with estima cos the auto doors didnt work on slightly slopey roads.

i had muchhhhh more food den the pictures here. overall i really enjoyed the eating! everything was cheap and nice! we ended the trip by having a seafood dinner at johor by the sea!

merry christmas

quite disappointed with pizza hut this year because they either forgot a pizza or the food wasn't QC-ed. we order 2 pizzas, drumlets and starry munchie(hash browns star shaped), but our first delivery had only 1 pizza and the side dishes. the drumlets were pretty pale and the starry munchie was super pale and soft! mum complained to their supervisor because she had eaten the starry munchie just a day ago and it was super crispy and nice..and how can they forget to deliver 1 pizza?! they kept putting her on hold which pissed her off, and we were already halfway into the dinner. she ended the conversation with their supervisor by a 'just do whatever you have to do' haha! and so, our second delivery came after we finish dinner while we were playing wii. 2 pizzas were delivered! they gave us an extra pizza! but without our requested cripsy starry munchie! but since we had an extra pizza, mum was happy because the extra supreme pizza would be about 18 bucks. we went back to wii and den there was another phone call shortly to open the lobby door by pizza hut! aunt told us they delivered the starry munchie! they made 3 deliveries altogether! if they had did it properly the first time, they could have saved on the 2 wasted trips, 1 supreme pizza and 1 starry munchie!

went to the open house in the 18th floor of eucalia block.. and this was the seaview that greeted me! soooo niceeeeeee.....such a clear view of the sea. the lights from the boats at night must be lovely too. aunt was pretty interested in this unit, since its up for an auction by a bank. so she happily thought that there is a chance of getting a good deal, and so she started asking everyone to pool funds. surprisingly, there were alot of pple who turned up! most of them were dressed up, whilst those in home clothes were residents. and then..the agent said the market valuation price given was 1.9 - 2 million !!!! that's insanely insane! but even at 2 million..it would be a good investment becos ocean park has high potential for en-bloc! but this unit was rather....small i felt. half carpeted, a false ceiling was done, alot of unnecessary inbuilt cornerings were done. the only nice thing was the sea view..

i did the 4 paged-minutes for mda in the morning, mfa's design document after lunch, and msn-ed some assholes in between about cits. my buddy for cits is on holiday, so all the questions are somehow channel-ed to me, even the pm is bombarding me with questions i couldnt answer.

oh. and when i couldnt answer her questions due to my over-independent developer, i had a whole load of crap from her i totally cannot be bothered to reply. and i immediately blocked her without ANY hesistation. adding her freaking msn was a big mistake. and erm, if you may ask why, its MY msn. i have the rights not to choose the pple i wish to add, and i do not wish to go online at night, having to chat with pple i do not wish to chat with. imagine i go online at nite to check my emails, and then someone msgs me about work. -_-

oh wow. u so smart rite, den u fucking tell the developer what to do, and stop telling me to tell him to do this and that. from day 1, we tell the developer what has to be done, and we leave it to him to decide the fastest and easiest way. we all know you are number one in giving instructions, because u are the only oh-i-am-a-PM who doesnt do any dirty work. and hey, in case u dont remember, this is my bloody first job in this fucked up company working with a bloody bitch. i am not the smartest neither am i the most experienced. isn't it YOUR part and responsbility to guide us the correct way instead of just throwing the entire project to 2 newbies?

just a day ago, she happily threw some error that she expects me to solve. oh haha. this error was done by some fuckers who has left this place, and this error is from DAY ONE! HOW THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT ME TO SOLVE IT WHEN I KNOW NUTS ABOUT THIS?! in any case, i asked her how to solve it nicely. her reply? 'i dunoe too'. wah *claps* that's hell smart for a PM huh.

end of the week, finally.

it has been a rather bad week, although i had a day's mc on thursday. the week started bad, with the ridiculously long wait for mr manager on monday, and then a tuesday rushing for some mda documents (some email/sms templates that has ALREADY BEEN DONE, updating the func specs and some bloody impact analysis shit), a wednesday with the last minute call for miss mda-official-minuter to attend some rubbishy meeting, and a busy half-day friday rushing some bloody test cases where i almost wanted to slam my laptop on when to-be-mrs-ugly said this was not what she wanted.

despite all the rubbish and shit i had this week, there was someone who made my day. mr you-know-ah from NCS ! at first i thought he was joking since he's capable of pulling such jokes. i sms-ed him, and he said he's serious! his boss really did ask him, and recently asked him again! no idea what the position is and what the job scope is, but i suppose probably what raymond is currently doing.. BUT ncs's working hours starts at 830 AM!!! how on earth can i wake up at 630AM for 5 DAYS A WEEK!?!? the thought of slapping 黑的, ms pretty and mr teletubby is super shuang loh! even if its for that few seconds..it made me chuckle. MDA project is already capable of making me consider waking up early, wearing formal on mon-thurs and no more working from home.. but ms shy is a responsible person who will finish up her projects before thinking of leaving this bonus/reward-less company. my dear raymond's email is pasted below, of which i may receive some comments about the unnecessary publicity from mr manager.

and then on monday, i had to wait 1 HOUR and 10 MINS half under the rain for someone. by half, i meant getting half drenched as the taxi stand wasn't 100% sheltered. my jeans was half wet, my bag was half wet, i got wet while running over to maccas in that short 5 seconds that was pouring like nobody's business, what else could be worse than a wet monday morning? i cant curse n swear here becos he reads this, but seriously, i was this close to throwing you to the lions and walking off. i dun mind waiting if i was in some shopping mall, but even so, not an insane 1 HOUR! i'm still angry but the anger from 黑的 somehow replaced monday's anger.

when randy briefed loxy over nyp, i secretly wished it was me he was talking to instead. MDA may sound nice in resumes, but i think the people in this team (no im not part of mda team) have alot of reflections to do. not that i am the most perfect person on earth, but i think im much better than someone who calls people for meeting last minute, or someone who emphasizes alot on team but yet do another, or someone who's life is messed up with gf and delayed projects, or someone who leaves an excellent impression to clients by attending only the first few meetings and busy(s) himself with his phone during meetings.

how to work hard for such a company with people of such calibre, you tell me?

i asked mum a very stupid question few days ago while watchin the 9pm drama.. i asked her IF i had a sister, where will she sleep? kinda lame, but i pictured an imaginary sister next to me at that split second. mum rolled her eyes and gave me that are-you-okay look, and then i continued to ask her if she would prefer having 2 daughters instead of 1. she didn't answer my question and shut me off! *pouts and blinks*

met up with my shorties for dinner today and somehow alicia's depressed mood affected me too. she wanted to go to city space and i was more than happy to accompany her, but one had driving lesson and the other gg to batam tmr. all 3 of them are gg for holidays in dec!! except me! this is probably the first time i'm not going anywhere in dec! tt's like sooo depressing ! the yearly dec holidays is not taking place this year! on a slightly happier note, i made some quick bucks from shares..

i feel like finishing 5 bars of frey's dark chocolates now.

a silent protester

went to speaker's corner this evening to help contribute towards the crowd (even mei came along!), although all but 2 disappeared halfway the rally to han's cafe. we appeared back when the rally was ending, and saw the messages displayed by some. one was written all over a DBS umbrella - banKdits lie. and i saw the twins from my sec sch - shaun n leon! joy was like 'eh did i just see another same person?!'

dinner was at lao pa sat, cos me n joy was craving for satays! but what the hell.. the food totally sucks at lao pa sat! neverrrr will i go back there for dinner. whatever we ordered sucked! their chicken wings were RED, becos their stall name says honey chicken wings. which honey is red in the first place?! and we did not taste anything like honey loh.. satay was so-so. sambal stingray was like more of a stingray with bean paste instead of sambal..sotong you tiao was nothing but crispy oily you tiao can?! when we asked the lady where was the sotong, she said, oh there's no sotong, we put a layer of sotong on the you tiao. WTH?! liddat oso can?!

i dun understand why tourists flock to this badly run food court?! there is alot of touting, and we didnt even have to get up to order, becos the moment we sit down, menus were automatically shoved at our face. to think i thought it was a nice place, eating on the road with nice satays and nice food... to quote joy, it was just a waste of our stomach over bad fats.

8 hours before i leave....

i'm still not excited. no idea why hey... i was lazy and rather reluctant to pack yesterday. whilst mum started packing hers a week ago and aunt was packing hers yesterday, i fell asleep on the floor with meimei becos the wind was just so good and sort of felt like a lullaby making me drowsy.

mum and aunt have been busying drafting and sending out their letters to MAS and banks regarding their lehman minibonds. during the gathering on sat nite at hong lim park with tan kin lian, i think they have been some sort appointed as one of the leaders to a group..becos they actually fall under the Top 5 investors! dunoe to be proud of them to be Top 5 or to feel stupid becos every single family member has a share in this minibond except me n cousins lah. they think that MAS or the banks can return them their money just by all the petitions and letters and whatnots. i pity MAS and the banks.

okays, i have to go down to parkway to get my sweets and tidbits becos i eat alot of them during holidays!

grandparents came back this morning at 5+ am.. i no need to rush back to cook dinner already! went for lunch at swensen's with mum and den to my facial. winnie did the facial for me today and she was exceptionally soooooo pushy i wanna pull her hair! keep wanting me to pay 50 for a collagen mask becos she claimed that my face is very dry and very dull. ya as if the collagen mask can add colours to my face. and who wouldnt glow when they are gg for a holiday! stupid shit. in the end she somehow pull too hard while waxing, and then i had no choice but to do the stupid mask becos she freaking claimed it would repair the damaged skin. in the end still the same loh.. i dun see any glow on my face, and even if it really glows, how long can this glow last for? im getting quite frustrated with this facial place.. they are alwayssss making me buy this n that. tell them no money to eat alreadie still force me to do wad stupid mask.

i have been doing too much online shopping recently, i reckon. decided to stop after this last F21, karin, and mandy's online stuffs until at least christmas! going cycling and dinner at east coast this sat and den having a steamboat/bbq this sun at my place! yayy..

mum and novi started cooking the korean curry when i finally got home after a 15 min wait for the freaking bus. korean curry was soo nice.. and 3rd aunt made some popcorn after dinner!
