steamboat and a night of fun!

the four of us went down northbridge for steamboat last night..and den after dinner we were at timezone wanting to take neoprints, but den i suddenly realised i didnt bring my passport!!! me n henry went home to get my passport, ended up slacking at home for a while and den henry was talking to jessy on the phone and she's joining us at metro! so we went to her place to wait for her while she puts her makeup on.. her house was rather tastefully done up, in a grand and elegant manner. but to an extent that i feel that its not very cosy and a little not to my expectations a house would have. her living room didnt have a tv and her room is rather small, when i thot she would have a princessy room since her parents are loaded.

anyway, instead of the 30 mins we promised mq and alli that we would be back by, we took nearly 2 hours.. so when we met them at metro, mq was almost 80% drunk while alli was drinking to be drunk. okay. rather weird friends huh.

oh anyway! best part was, me n henry got in free becoz jessy knows the owner of metro! yay! saved me 20 bucks coz she managed to sell our tix to her frens. drinks increased by 50cents i think, but henry treated this greenish sweet stuff called illusion, so 5 of us had a few shots of that, but.. no kick one lah. had tequila shot with jessy who had this barcardi 151 shot, i wonder why when she finished the drink with a big sulk on a face. perhaps she wanted a stronger alcohol since barcardi 151 is the most lethal alcohol around with abt 70-80% alcohol.

mq had to get out of the club coz this security saw him sitting around very drunk to get some fresh air, and so we walked down to another pub's toilet. pubs are free entry, that's why. when we went back, we joined roland kenneth n kelvin, who was another big drinker, i see him drinking n drinking as if it was water and den dancing like a crazy fella with the hands flying all over. haha. thank god i dont have the guts to do something like that no matter how drunk i am..

anzac day and a day of cleaning

since curtin decided to make it a public holiday for students too, my 2 tutorial classes were cancelled. so i cleaned my table, did the laundry, washed the dishes..and den went to alli's place to copy the korean dramas.. only to realise the copying took a long time and we were all tired to continue..

on tues evening, i had steamboat with chris henry and steven at his place since he stays by himself and has the necessary equipment. i made almond jelly with fruit salad for dessert, and helped out with the veggie washing.. steamboat was alright, except that he bought alot of food.. fresh prawns and toothfish! dun realli noe wat fish that is.. but..fish loh. chris n henry said it was very nice plus steven said its one of the nicest and expensive fish around.. i didnt eat much of that coz.. im not very much of a fish person?

haha. the best part of the nite was that steven made very nice cocktails! he made a few.. of one that all of us liked alot.. with some weird name la. and den halfway into the drinking, we panicked becoz the next day was a public holiday! which means a very high chance of getting the random breath testing! i cant, becoz as a learner, i can only have like what 0.05%? henry would have reached his limit after some funny drink with 7 shots of alcohol..

anyway, he puked when we went home.. hahahahaa.

korean curry and a day of diarrhea

this post was due like one wk ago, when we cooked korean curry last thurs nite. korean curry isn't supposed to be spicy at all, but den henry who had very itchy hands, went to add his own curry powder, and he was actually waiting for it to turn to red colour! gosh!

i was like full from drinking water instead of the curry and rice! the main point was, i had diarrhea the next day, and i had a test at 4pm that day -_- felt so uncomfortable the whole day having butterflies in my stomach while trying to make sure i didnt leave out anything for the test..

memories

come november, i wouldn't be seen crying at changi airport anymore, but instead at perth's international airport. having been here for more than 4 semesters, im starting to feel that tinge of un-bear-ness to leave this place. it may not have the shopping i want, but it has the friends i love, and the environment i enjoy.

i find it hard to find such friends in singapore, since everyone is always busy with their own lives, families and partners. its really heart-warming to know people like henry, chris, sebastian, steven, ray, roland who have helped me in a way or another. although i would still be meeting most of them in singapore, i definitely will miss the times we spent here, be it studying or for fun. they are indeed a bunch of people who have gone through thick and thin with me throughout this 2 years or so, who will not hesistate to lend me a helping hand when i need one, or to lend me their ears for my whinings about life, or to encourage me to go further in life.

while i have lost a special one in my journey here, i have gained this guys who have showed me who really are my true friends. a big thank you to all of you, i wouldnt have come this far in my studies and life without any one of you.

its just sad to know that we will be graduating soon, and to be in different parts of the world someday..

the first step

i put away everything given by him or related to him, only to realise myself wallet-less. henry has promised to get me a new one, a very sweet gesture! he said the wallet from coach was nice, so haha, is that a hint?

i promised myself to make my life a better one, and a happier one without his existence. for a very weak and emotional person like me, it is a difficult one to fulfill. perhaps, God is telling me that mr right has been right in front of me all this while. the guy who has not gave up on me once, who has always been putting alot of time and effort in grooming me, and the one who would do me favours with no questions asked.

i should really walk out of this comfort zone into another, and look with an open mind. he tells me he will love his new son more den me, and spends his every free minute with him, but he ends the conversation with a 'he will make you forget faster'. i do hope he gets his new son, chilli soon.

on a lighter note, im not gonna clean chilli's poo though.
